The New Buffalo Community Youth Center is an outreach ministry of Living Way Church. It was founded in January 2007 and opened in March of that same year. Since then, literally thousands of young people have come through its doors, as the NBCYC continues to fulfill its mission of "Serving Parents & Reaching Kids".
During the school year, the youth center is a designated school bus stop and reaches approximately 20 to 30 kids per week through its "After School Program". The NBCYC is provided as a FREE service to area families and operates solely on a donation basis. Donations are welcome and most appreciated!
The youth center is available to use for special occasions, such as children's birthday parties, etc. Gaming systems, such as Playstation 3 and Wii, can be played on two flat screen monitors. Two high-speed internet computers, Wi Fi connection for laptops, and a video projection screen are also available.
Wednesday nights this summer (June 23 and June 30, July 14 through August 25) at the youth center, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., "Girls Night Out" will be offered to young ladies, ages 10 and up. The theme will be "A Marriage Made in Heaven".
