The New Buffalo Community Youth Center is an outreach ministry of Living Way Church. It was founded in January 2007 and opened in March of that same year. Since then, literally thousands of young people have come through its doors, as the NBCYC continues to fulfill its mission of "Serving Parents & Reaching Kids".
Today the youth center is a designated school bus stop and is reaching approximately 60 to 70 kids per week through its "After School Program". This program runs Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00. The NBCYC is provided as a FREE service to area families and operates solely on a donation basis. Donations are welcome and most appreciated!
The youth center is available to use for special occasions, such as children's birthday parties, etc. Gaming systems, on three flat screen monitors, include Wii, X-Box 360, Playstation 2 & 3, and Rock Band. Three high-speed internet computers, Wi Fi connection for laptops, and a 10 foot projection screen are also available.
